About me
Fábio Amaro (Fábio Amaro da Silveira Duval) is a Brazilian poet and imagetic artist. Author of O Carrossel dos Desvarios Voláteis - ensaios poéticos (1999) and of O Terceiro Lado da Moeda (2017), he is trying to develop other ways to convey images beyond what words can do. For this purpose, he uses photography as a starting point to create images that arise from his awkward eyes, from a parallel universe which lays nowhere in the face of Earth. Fábio Amaro's purpose is to unearth the hidden treasures from the pale and multiply-folded reality. Unfolding the tissue of life is what makes it worthy!

Fábio Amaro da Silveira Duval is Adjunct Professor of International Relations - Federal University of Pelotas - Brazil. Graduate in Law, and Master of Arts in International Relations, Fábio Amaro is also PhD in International Relations - Institute of International Relations - University of Brasília - Brazil (2014). And was PhD Researcher - Centre of Latin American Studies - University of Cambridge - United Kingdom (2013).
