Description
About me
Born and raised near the gorgeous mountains and Great Salt Lake of Utah, Zach Bowman's life was saturated by color and light. Having a mother as an art teacher, Zach was trained not only to draw and paint, but to see the world in it's pure, simplified, and abstracted forms.
He enjoys observing life and learning about the psychology and symbolism that help one understand it in ways beyond the physical realm alone. Having been raised in a religious family whilst being surrounded by people of various cultures and backgrounds, Zach finds joy in painting the common ground between all humanity. His current works seek to reflect the spirit, light, human nature as well as the world's overlooked beauties.
Work / Education
After graduating from UVU with a Bachelors in Fine Arts as well as 17 years of private instruction by an established artist, (and mother,) Zach has since exhibited his work in Utah's Art Stroll Galleries such as Urban Arts Gallery, Lulu's, Woodbury Art Museum, Springville and The Glass House. Later this year (2018) he will be exhibiting his work in a solo exhibition in Salt Lake's Largest Library.
