Description
About me
Hi! My name is Jessica Grace, and I’m an Atlanta based artist. Most of my work is done with pèbèo paint. I use pébéo on wooden panels, canvas, and even when creating my jewelry - it’s extremely versatile. I also play around with acrylic, gold leafing, and ink drawings. I don’t have any professional training, but I have always enjoyed creating art and always will. The majority of my paintings are inspired by music. I have this thing called synesthesia, which in my case, means that I see color when I listen to music. Typically, I paint the colors I see. Sometimes one painting is one song. Sometimes one painting could be based off of multiple songs. It just depends! I like to switch it up.
Art and music are such a beautiful way to bring glory to God, and I pray that my work reflects that.
Work / Education
I am a self taught artist. I took some art classes as a child, and despite my love for art, I didn’t enjoy being instructed in it. I prefer to figure out my own style and what works for me. As mentioned earlier, I’m mostly focusing on pébéo. A large part of my work with pébéo is making jewelry, which I frequently sell at art shows, through social media, or to friends and family.
