About me
I am 31 years old, married and have 4 children. My favorite things to do are draw, paint, and be outside. My preferred mediums are charcoal and acrylics. I have been interested in art since I started school. I have about 25 years of learning and experience in the arts. 2 years of college and the rest has been self taught. I also enjoy food, music and movies. My dream job would be to build movie sets or work on special effects. I am still a stay at home mom, currently, and have been since 2007. I am trying to decide what i should do with my life after my youngest heads to school next year. I have recently taken up meditation to help with my stress levels as I suffer from migraines. I would reccommend it to everyone, it has helped tremendously! I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy making it. Much love
Work / Education
I have worked mostly in the restaurant business. Serving food and drinks as a waitress, i have been a bartender and a fast food worker as well. I have about 2 years of schooling focused in the arts. One year at lansing community college in Lansing, mi, and one year at Kirtland Community College in roscommon, mi. I have had some freelance jobs mostly for friends and family. I volunteer with the local head start program on different art related projects when needed ad well. I also am the troop leader for my daughter's girl scouts. I also teach painting parties, in home, and locally around my home town.
