About me
Next to being a woman, a mother, a wife, a friend, a neighbour,etc...I am also a painter and sculpter.

I have always been interested in the human body. I first learned drawing from life model at school and now I try to express the beauty and elegance of people in their real life. Taking into account the human interaction, the movement, emotions, expressions. All this is enhanced by the colours I choose in the process of painting.
I prefer working on a large scale. It has to be BANG! I am driven and always very motivated in everything I do. Working on a large scale for me is showing that I am not afraid to go for it!
Work / Education
I have a master degree as a translator/interpreter. But in fact I became a bank employee for 30 years. I stopped working at the age of 53. And then art in general became my full time profession.
I am very driven, passionate; I want to get better and better. I try to get out of my comfort zone in order to make progress.
Success is not built on success, it is built on failure and frustration. It is a very lonely but oh so beautiful way to go! I am a very grateful and happy woman to get this opportunity in life, to have a studio, to be healthy and to be able to do what a always wanted to do : ie. expressing myself with oils, watercolors, charcoal, pencils...
