About me
Hi, My name is Janelle and my art goes by CreativeStateUS. I am based in New York City.
I am a visual artist focusing primarily on painting. My work is comsidered to be in the realm of being abstract. I am inspired by the female form along with nature and aspects of meditation. Currently most of my work is display on a 20 by 16 canvas.
Along with visual art I have also done performance based arts such as dance and acting. I performed in three separate pieces at Hunter College. Two Contemporary and one West African. I Consider myseld to be a very creative person, my paintings are one of the outlets in which I am able to display that.
Work / Education
I went to Hunter College where I took my art based courses.
My art experience is primarily self taught. Although I have taken paint and sip classes- which have taught me different techniques. I have also done a photography course and an Art 101 class. Along with a course in Art History.
I am also a NYC Certifed Teacher
