About me
1. Direction of Work
Overlaid
The image painted repeatedly to be overlaid indicates some records of time and space.
The subjects having their own meaning would be piled up gradually into a single plane.
Each layer that would be revealed at last through a physical intervention would be visible as an object.
2. Brief on the Work
In my past works, I had arranged the obsessive images, exploring the meaning of some symbolic images, but. I departed from such an obsession, and began to look for more humane and natural looks. However, I was approaching the art in an exclusive way to look for a symbolism in my behaviors defined as unconscious image by myself, which was making me more strenuous.
Before looking for a new story in other places, I began to arrange my look. Then, I looked for the memories warm or miserable to me; I searched for the traces of my life that were like the every trace on the deserted wall with the traces of the leaflets pasted and plucked out over and again.
