About me
I studied arts at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Painting Department in Istanbul/Turkey for eight years. I have drawn on whatever was available since I was five. I derive inspiration from uncanny happenings and experiences in my daily life and make them visible with my arts guidance. The urge of giving new forms to the world is my purpose of creating new canvases and paintings. Seeing, understanding and reflecting new forms has been what Sestos was to Leander.
The aim of my works is trying to link what is not embraceable to what can be perceived. Then viewers might say: "Yeah, that can be done, and that should be done." In other words "What is accepted to be beautiful can be made more so, or at least, less common or less usual."
I believe that gripping what is left aside, is gripping the entirety.
