In short Joe
It all started one day when I saw a Lamp I really liked, and I thought to myself, I could easily make one just like that. I took apart an old Lamp and made my first Lamp using some parts of the old one and anything else that caught my fancy. Then I wondered what else I could, or could not get away with. So I found raw materials like scrap metal, old screws, pipes, wood, pieces of euro pallets, anything other people might consider trash worthy items. I take those items and I puzzle together Lamps and other objects, lots of times I also use modified magnets so my Lamps can partially be shaped to taste. So I don't really make Lamps, I just puzzle together existing items and convert them in too Lamps and such. I also like to use paint and fire to highlight eccentric features in items. My Creations are not glued or soldered together, they can all be dismantled back to their root parts. Mostly they only have 1 screw that holds up the whole construction. But it is very important to me, that you don't see any wires or ugly screws from the foot up. I also love little mistakes I've made, it makes them more Realistic & Sometimes it gave me an even better idea of which direction I should follow. Every single part of my Lamps has been well thought through and at times modified simply to complete this vague picture I have in my head. People tell me I have a knack for it, and so far I only hear positive things. So I decided to share them with the rest of the world. I hope you like them.
Besides the Lamps, I also like to Dabble in Photography, Music, Woodwork, Paints, Cloth, Technology, Really Anything and Everything Visual or Other that Stimulates me.
