Nadine has worked with clay, wood, metal and stone but has focused her work more on wood as she found it the richest and most powerful material among all. the artist found genuine connection between her visual comprehension and the important principles of sculpture, Through her experience with working with wood.
She believes that the material is a major factor that allows a sculptor's vision to develop and improve, from structure to texture.
Wood in all types and kinds, has been and still is an enchanting material that she's been able to employ her definitions to simplicity and abstraction through and with it
In her work the artists simplifies the Human Form, in which she does not copy the shape and form from an original figure the way it is, although she sometimes keeps the proportions the way they are, if by any chance it would serve the concept the artist is working on during carving the piece. When creating a model for a new piece she usually focuses on studying to improving all alternated and abstracted anatomic parts when merging them into one another, after the process of reconstructing them from their original form, giving every sculptural elements (curves, lines, angels) it's space to look visually prominent and in rhythm, and it is always important to the artist to attend keeping them in harmony with space and volume, and create unity with the composition of the work and her visual concepts.
