About me
When I was an exchange student in China in 2011 I visited a city called Guilin which is world renowned for it's spectacular landscapes and unique mountains. On day a friend took us on a bamboo raft to see the area, however I made the mistake of forgetting a camera. I was so blown away by the beauty of what I was seeing I desperately began sketching the scene on a lined notepad. I was not satisfied with my sketch obviously, and ever since that day I have been obsessed with recording the world's beauty not just through photography but my own personal interpretation of that beauty. When I returned to my hometown in Washington I realized we had just as much if not more beauty around us every day but the people here can't seem to see it or appreciate it to my satisfaction. Most people here are depressed because it's always raining or they complain about there being nothing to do. So I have taken it upon myself to show them how beautiful the world around them really is by taking a scene they see every day and painting it in a way that is fun and intriguing. I used to give my paintings away but my boyfriend says I put to much love end effort into my pieces to just be giving them away to people that don't even really appreciate their full value. This is my passion and I hope you can see that in every colorful brush stroke. I hope it inspires you to see the beauty in the world you may have been taking for granted.

That's right, I've never taken an art class in my life. Everything I know about making art was self taught or learned on YouTube.
