About me
I got an iPad for my birthday and just use it to get these ideas that I have out. I've been sketching for as long as I can remember and I started painting digitally. The iPad makes the whole process less expensive though cause I don't have to get supplies.
I'm a huge rap fan so I love doing portraits of my favorite artists. More recently I've branched out though.
Kehinde Wiley is a huuuuuge influence on my work. But Chuck Close is just my favorite.
I love modern art, symbolism is great. But at a certain level, I believe creating for the sake of creating something beautiful is in it of itself more beautiful than purposeful and forced symbolism. Life is too short to do anything else.
Work / Education
I'm a high-school student. I've taken high school painting and drawing classes but that's about it.
I attend John Burroughs School in Saint Louis, Missouri.
