About me
Artem Ogurtsov was born and lives in Moscow.
Artem works and experiments with different painting and graphic techniques. The artist prefers classical synthesis of the Renessance glazing techniques, collage and his own techniques.
Most of the time the artist dedicates to non-commercial projects implementing his ideas into man-made objects.
The artist provides an opportunity to enjoy the completeness and sufficiency of his art images, and the beautiful phonetics of the Latin language in their names, avoiding any interpretation and additional explanation of their work, considering the visual image as a self-sufficient language for communicating with the viewer. The sacrament, the variability of perception and the ambiguity of the semantic interpretation is the desired effect.

I graduated from art college (the training lasted 10 years) 1987 - 1997
Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry 1997-2002
my specialty is graphic design (as it is written in my diploma)
I mastered the techniques of etching, drypoint, linocuts, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel painting, academic drawing, batic, digital render, photography, collage, hand gilding and other different media
I currently work on non-commercial projects in my own workshop.
