Minnesota based artist in the USA.
I work primarily with oil and acrylic paints, but also has experience with drawing, graphic design, and ceramics.
My main focus the last couple years has been a few series of abstract paintings derived from the fundamentals of art.
I have been strongly influenced by the fundamentals of art: such as line, shape, color, pattern, texture, etc. All of these elements can come together to create intriguing works of their own, without the need of a recognizeable image or figure. I have found that when working with these fundamentals of art, one can find artistic beauty all around them.
