About me
I am a conceptual artist from Romania, living in Cluj Napoca.
Each work of art I create is my way to immortalize themes inspired by the perceptual reality, animated by soul stimuli, all coming from a spirituality of the free, the philosophical game of new ideological senses, which I find necessary.
My tools are images and words as I often associate short but consistent poems together with my paintings.
I find very challenging to make this association between the sense and the color and shape representation of it, especially when it comes to keeping the simplicity of artistic expression, touching the right essence of a storyline.
Even though I enormously appreciate classical painting, my choice is to use paint to represent a meta-realistical point of view that could only be produced in an vivid imaginary using strong colors, as it all happens in the realm of intellect. Each element represents a symbolic featuring of meanings I stubbornly keep in focus trough simplicity.
Everything is an alibi and nothing is without purpose.
Work / Education
I studied in a philological profile high school with foreign languages specialization in English and French and at the University I studied Marketing and International Affairs. After graduation I worked in Brand Communication filed for about 12 years in Bucharest, and moved after in Cluj Napoca to start a new path in art as I was already obsessed by it and practicing it as a hobby. Starting 2014 I studied painting with a personal master, one of the best painters Romania has at the moment and since 2015 I started to have my own solo shows once a year and also participated in Group Exhibitions nationally and internationally.
