My work is firstly composed of digital images, but includes re-drawings of the images by hand with analog sensibilities. The pieces (550x180cm) installed in the exhibition space are fixed to wires that are hung from the ceiling, and drawings are arranged in a way that surrounds and occupies the space. The exhibition space fully occupied by the drawings allows audiences to experience the tranquility of a forest and the visual tactility of mist surrounding a lake, encouraging them to take their time. As audience members walk further through the exhibition space, they feel more out of touch with reality, since they are used to living in a digital age. The drawings created on the front and backside of the vinyl wall, together with the distinctive quality of the material, offer an opportunity for the spectators to feel part of themselves in an awareness of fantasy. In this regard, the vinyl wall surrounding the space becomes a transparent wall that interacts in a lively way with the viewers, rather than dividing the space.
