The assignment here was to compile a self portrait in the style of a contemporary artist. I remember first picking up one of Justin Bua's books at my local chapters as a child and instantly falling in love with the rhythm and exaggeration that he was able to achieve in tandem with a wonderfully nuanced painting style. This is as much an homage to him as it is a representation of myself.
