A gift to my in-laws, who have been so generous to us over the years. This painting rests above their living room fireplace when you first come into their home. Historically, poppies are a symbol of remembrance. One may think of the battlefield, or a hardship endured, but on that trampled ground, a seed germinates and up grows a delicate vibrant poppy. Isn’t this the work of the Lord in those who are His? That is something to remember.
