This is my first abstract painting made at first unintentionally when I was trying to draw/paint a portrait of my grandmother who had recently passed away at the time. I was frustrated because the portrait wasn't coming out the way I wanted to. So I ended up smearing paint all over it with a brush first and then moved onto using a small piece of cardboard paper.
