Through the lives of modern people, which resemble a watch spring that winds endlessly, we can see man's infinite desire and the transience of world. In this mundane routine that we try to endure, we instinctively develop intense aspirations for freedom. I drew a parallel between such people of modern era and frogs that hatch from eggs when the warm sunshine floods in to tell us that spring has arrived and passionately croaks during summer to portray out alter ego that long for freedom. Like the frogs' croaks that presented me with various feeling, we can experience happiness, sadness, lonesomeness, chaos and other diverse emotions existent in our lives through my artworks and croaks of our own hearts.
By placing silk above the artwork that has been completed with India Ink, I portrayed man's unlimited desires and transience of life. Even through the artwork became hazy due to silk, the artist's intention became more evident.
