More of an abstract idea behind studying irrationality, and the behaviour behind a fear snowballing and becoming this large, dominating presence which cannot be ignored or suppressed.
The chaotic acrylic is smeared with almost no aesthetic intent, and then 'scrutinised' by the harsh exposure of a thick marker pen. The pen works as a representative of one's mind; analysing events and picking up on details which many rational thinkers would dismiss without consideration.
