Description
A story of never ending poverty. 'Bayo' means to pound, in this case is the pounding of rice. Nagbayo is the past tense, nagbabayo is present tense, and magbabayo is future tense. The painting talks about the never ending cylce of poverty. Nagbayo is represented by the oldest character in the painting, the woman in red. Nagbabayo is represented by 'Nagbayo's' daughter, the woman in the right. And lastly, magbabay, is the child, 'Nagbabayo's son.
