i was just inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's movie "Kiki's Delivery Service" not as a fan art, but it's because I like the character design of Kiki. She looks innocent, curious, up for adventure and that's what this drawing is about. It's about a curious girl who is not afraid to take risks and find answers. A sunset setting just complimented a cool tone of the lower half. I just wanted to put blue flame-like looking orbs just like the ones at Disney's brave. As I think about it, it is a combination of two different inspiration. I loved both films.
