I seek to realize an event where abundance of resources is manifested in favor of a dignified, transcendental spiritual goal . And I would like to tell Professor Rocco Mangieri, THE HOUSE OF THE EIGHT DOORS: FOR A SEMIOTIC OF THE EVENT
I have relocated the sign of the event in the space of everyday life. I have not
found, for now, a better place. I have extracted it and separated from the discourse of the
catastrophe ,following a principle of theoretical consistency but also the adoption of an
ethical posture: a principle of personal and political responsibility. I will take as a metaphor
(epistemological but also affective) a small series of architectural, visual and plastic traces.
The objective, among others, is to propose the profound difference between event-
catastrophe (event-accident) and event as gift and hospitality, as a kind of encounter.
