Whimsicality
Description
(Written back in September 2016)
I still have a Harry Potter hangover since the book, ‘The Cursed Child’, was released so for this month’s theme, I lifted the inspiration from a well known Hogwarts school subject called ‘Transfiguration’.
I imagined myself in Minerva McGonagall’s class and she asked us to transform a nest into a hay stack but I ended up with a bizarre nest-like figure made of a succulent (an echeveria to be precise), vines and a few angular objects jutting out from the center. Three black birds sat comfortably on the unique structure while they tried to pull the tendrils with their beaks.
I think I would fare better in Conjuration.
