About ZakiHadri
The real name Abu Zaki Hadri as in the passport, and known as the nickname is ZakiHadri is a talented international artist in Malaysia. He is from the blood of his art in which his father Hj Hadri Ghazali was a visual arts teacher and khat/calligraphy. His late Brother's father, Hj Mansor Ghazali is also a painter and expert in Malaysian Watercolour Society (MWS). With the presence of metal fabrication education in high school, He also has the foundation of iron welding skills. Among his works is making sculpture functional like a common public bench.
Born in Taiping, from the state in Perak Malaysia in March 1979. He spent the most part of my childhood here, with primary education at King Edward 1, secondary education at Kerian Vocational School in Metal Fabrication. He graduated from Architecture School at Polytechnic Ungu Omar in Ipoh. His current of work reflects nature, a universal reference point of faith or ones’ depiction of life, all the while exploring in multitudes of brilliant colors, representing light or salvation. He did participate international group art exhibition in year 2008- Exhibition Group T.V.i.M-Thailand, Veitnam, Indonesia & Malaysia at Visual Art Exhibiton of South-East Asia’s Artist in Jogja Gallery. Yogyakarta. Indonesia. 2012 -Participated Exhibition 1Mcat at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia. 2013 - Participated Exhibition Group ilham ‘Steampunk’ at Pelita Hati Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia. 2013 - Group Exhibition @ Malaysia Eye Art Exhibition (Morne/Nolias Art Gallery, London). 2014 – 1st Price Award Competition Sculpture Organized by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). 2015-Organized Group art exchange Breakthrough #1 & #2 with PeRUPA(Malaysia) & KERSAN ART STUDIO (Yogyakarta). 2016 - Curated #150 Malaysian Artist Group Imago Mundi Malaysia organized by Benneton foundation Italy. 2016 – Appointed by Seri Pacific Hotel to be advisor of Gallery Artiseri at Lobby Seri Pacific hotel Kuala Lumpur (Part of the CSR Program) for two Showcase R.A.U.T and Travelook Bumi Kenyalang Group Art Exhibition. 2016 – Organized/Participate Group art exchange Malaysia & Philippines ‘ArtDialogo’ #1 & #2 with PeRUPA(Malaysia) & Nemi Miranda Atelier Arthouse (Angono Rizal,Philippines). 2017 – Organized/Participate Group art exchange Malaysia & India ‘Colourful MIND 2017’ #1 & #2 with PeRUPA(Malaysia) & The Art Pivot Foundation.(Udaipur, India).
