In our modern society, we pretend to be like modern, open minded, some people may be really do so, but most of us are still stucked into same old meaningless man made rituals, superstitions.
Periods!
If a girl is going through her periods, she can't go to holi places, can't touch holi things. Mistakenly if she does so, society will behave like you are untouchable, you have done a crime.
Don't you understand, it's not a crime or a girl's fault, it's a normal biological process. Which we can't ignore and it's painful too!
But it is more painful when your family believe in same rituals, they feel your pain, they care but the main thing that they also ask for " you take rest and don't go to the holi places and don't touch them."
Even once I also used to believe that thing, but now I find it worthless.I know I can't change other's perceptions but ya I can try for my family but if they don't, I have to be silent for them but for me, in my world I am open to do and believe anything! And no one can force me.
