Description
It was a typical winter day in one of the ordinary streets in Downtown, Toronto where I've already stopped surprising to come across another homeless person who lied down in a corner. Even though it is one of the best-named countries in the world, homelessness has become a major social issue in Canada. Today, after men, children represent the fastest-growing subgroup of the homeless population, followed by youth. All around the world, people become homeless for a wide variety of circumstances such as family problems, abuse, mental illness, lost job, can't afford to pay rent and while most of the people find it hard to look at a homeless person, woefully, the big stigma is 'it's the homeless person's fault'. Whose fault is it, really?
