The story behind this work is my idea of expressing the beauty and the majestic form of the traditional filipiniana gown of the philippines, my nation. Another underlying message that I would like to tell through this work is that true beauty is more significant and graceful when it is from the inside but if it is only as deep as what we see, it is rather vain. One would accept suffering and endure pain to achieve beauty and glory.
