Description
Today I headed to a cinematic and notorious cabaret Moulin Rouge. I have wanted to paint it already for long, so it was a great chance to take.
Here is the link for a video of how I made it:

The place was a bit overcrowded, so I went to a coffee shop right in front of the sight, big windows of which were facing the red mill. I want to say Thank You, Merci to the people working in that Starbucks who kindly let me paint inside, seated comfortably at the table. I sat next to the window looking at the mill and making the first brush moves.
As all other paintings from the project "Painting in Paris", I made it in contemporary style with abstract elements. In these series of artworks I try to reflect more emotions and the atmosphere than the realistic figures and accurate lines. Hope you will enjoy it and get inspired!
I used acrylic on canvas.
By the way, that Starbucks has a really good view of the Moulin Rouge!
It is a very iconic and really old place, Don't miss it once you are in Paris!
Thank you for reading!
