Transcendent Turquoise

Transcendent Turquoise

There are a large number of things that inspire me to create the many different types of artwork that I've been making throughout almost my entire lifetime.
For this piece specifically, I was inspired by my favorite color (turquoise) & the ideas that I had previously gotten from watching other videos of artists making there own paint pours. I knew from what I had learned and seen in those videos, that if I tried to over think the concept of the painting or spent too much time trying to decide a perfect plan of execution for it, that the chances of the whole thing basically either turning out wrong entirely or just stressing me out in the end, would become much more probable than if I just go with the flow while taking simple individual steps throughout the process carefully and correctly until it was finished. I truly and honestly do believe that NOT trying to be and/or do something "PERFECTLY" is the absolute KEY in creating any type of art piece. So, in a slightly shortened explanation, I basically just took a few awesome colors (turquoise, gold, black, & white) and mixed them into what is called a "dirty pour" and just WENT FOR IT! Once I poured the cup of paints onto my canvas, I let them spread naturally for a few seconds and then picked it up very slowly and carefully while tilting it from side to side about 8" from the table until there was no longer any white canvas showing anywhere on the painting at all.
In one sentence, the inspiration for this piece was:
A mixture of my artistic curiosity and my passionate intrest for acrylic paint pouring!
