This was the first acrylic painting that I ever did. I started it with absolutely no idea what I was going to do with it. I just grabbed some paints and brushes and went for it. I started painting the colors and then blended them together. Once that was dry, it literally just sat in my room for months because I had no clue what else to do with it. One day I was looking at some contemporary art work pieces online and I got the idea to try splatter painting. I didn't have another blank canvas at the time, so I just used this one and did the splatter paint over what I had already done.
I showed it to some of my friends and almost every person told me that it reminded them of space. That's why I added a couple of little painted stars in the corners.
