Fall is such a beautiful season here in the Rockies and the aspens are some of the most colorful leaves at this time a year. This is a plein-air piece that was done near the South Fork of the Snake River in Southeast Idaho. I used Windsor and Newton paints on this work. I hope the viewer would feel the peace I experienced as was painting this piece.
