This is a plein-air work that was painted on Christmas Eve in the high desert of Southeast Idaho. The temperature was a balmy 35 F and I was full of the holiday cheer while working on this. I hope the viewer will feel the same solitude I was feeling while observing this painting. This was painted using Windsor and Newton oil paints on Ampersand Museum-Quality panel.
