I was born and raised by the sea. My grandfather gave me the idea to create this painting. I tried to put all the feelings of staying under water. I was also inspired by my younger me, by the days I sent fishing with my granafather.
During the process I started thinking about all the people living in a big connection with the sea: the market where I use to go with my father every Sunday morning, when the fishermen were screaming to sell their products.
From all this concept came out the name of the piece: Gente di mare (Sea people).
