After a big fire accident destroyed a big part of a mountain trees I had a conversation with my fiancee about the power of fire. I was very impressed by the few minutes fire took to bring away trees who needed, in some case, centuries to grow up.
So I found myself thinking about how fast life can change, even when we needed time to build it up.
That's way the fire of my painting is escaping from the canvas, you can't stop the fire in the same way we can not control life. Even when we try to keep everything closed in the limit of our life, "our canvas," there is some possibility that a part of it goes beyond the edge.
