I was in a sidewalk chalk art competition. I was working on images and Ideas to put in artwork. This was a temporary artwork made on 2nd street, Downtown Davenport, Iowa. The cracks in the street made a challenge to color. The chalk pastels give temporary colors and wash away as rain or time went on. The day working on was hot. Individuals said nice comments on the artwork. One was how a individual liked the American Bald Eagle in artwork. It was fun to try to think of artwork and subjects to make of the area.
