In 2018, Panayotova created a series of three large-format paintings united by the name "Monochrome space". In these works she recreates the momentary state of mind and the material presence of the object in space. The linear composition in the gray range of colors provokes our thoughts to a deep semantic content. For "Monochrome Space" the author shared: "The paintings are inspired by the loneliness with which we exist in a given moment, hour, or day after day. Our bodies are just outlines in space ... emptied of content. Lines trapped in gray space."
The series was created for the final exhibition of the 6th Allianz Bulgaria National Awards Competition, nominated and awarded authors in 2018, held in the exhibition halls "Shipka" 6, of the Bulgarian Union of Artists.
The painting is painted with high quality acrylic paints MaimerI, Daler Rowney, handmade charcoal. Painted on canvas on a subframe. Its surface is fixed with Schminke firnis for long-term storage. Ready to hang. It will be packed in a secure wooden crate.
