This piece was created with deep infatuation. It started out as a modest idea to layer deep reds but quickly led to a fevered application of pigments, I couldn't help myself I knew when to stop and I needed to chase this. Soon I was applying globs of paint directly to the panel, burying them in the colors behind and beside itself. I was taken hold by the idea that there was something buried in my brain I could say with the colors before me and although I still do not have words for it, I was able to scribe this thought out with color.
