Iguanas are a symbolic representation of regeneration and renewal. In this work, the artist depicts an iguana undergoing the harsh transformation necessary to kill the weakness inside that holds the sold at bay. It is considered a watershed piece, blending the previous erratic brushwork with their calculated train of thought process.
