Over the past year I have been suffering from anxiety and depression, a long side trying to come to terms with letting go of a toxic long- term relationship. Through my imagery, I found ways of documenting my moments of vulnerability in the space surrounding me. My work depicts my low mood leaving me motionless, almost as if I had been held on pause. And the lingering trace of fond memories preventing me from moving on, and consuming the person I really am. With the likes of Francesca Woodman and Jennifer Pattison, as my main sources of inspiration, I discovered how to create intimacy within my photographs through their delicate appearances.
